5 Easy Skincare Tips

I’m fairly certain we all know the importance of a solid skincare routine but have experienced some that are more tough to stick to. Use this product to wash, that to brighten, this to tone. Follow this trend for glowing skin, that for anti-aging… It can all be overwhelming.

What if I told you it doesn’t have to be that tough to maintain healthy, vibrant skin? We often find excellent results by taking it back to the basics, so I wanted to share five relatively simple skincare tips you can add to your routine:

Wash your Face Morning and Night

Wash away any makeup, impurities, and grime from the day each night using a face wash that works well with your skin.

Wash Makeup Brushes

Yep- your brushes! To keep any dirt and bacteria from being applied directly to your fresh face, wash your brushes once weekly!

Always use Sunscreen and Moisturizer

Help prevent the aging process by protecting your skin from the suns harsh rays and keeping it well hydrated to prevent lines, dryness, and peeling.

Clean Cellphone

Did you know that your cellphone could be the culprit of those random little breakouts? Eliminate dirt and bacteria being pressed into your face by using an alcohol swab to thoroughly clean your cellphone screen once a week.

Ice Your Face

After cleaning your skin morning and night, take an ice cube and rub it on your face for 5 minutes to help eliminate swelling and redness of blemishes and keep bacteria away.
