Making the Most of Your Trial
Narrowing down the professionals to use for your big day can be such a whirlwind, but you’ve made it! You have officially selected the artists whose aesthetics align most closely with the vibe of your day, and now your Hair & Makeup trial is coming up!
If you’re wondering “now, what?”, you’re definitely not alone!
Through my years of helping clients through trials, these are the tips they have shared were most helpful:
Bring Pictures
Have ideas of what you are envisioning for both Hair and Makeup, and bring pictures with you! Everyone sees colors, shapes, and designs differently; bringing photos will help the artist hone into exactly what you are wanting.
Clean Hair/Clean Face
Having clean hair and a clean face will allow the artist to use the best products for your hair and skin and give the best results.
Bring Your Stuff
Do you have a hair piece, a vail, or something you want to incorporate in your look? Bring it so you can try it out before the big day!
Know the Budget… for Everyone
Bring the total numbers of your bridal party to ensure that you get a clear idea of what your budget is going to be.
Share Details!
Any details of the wedding will help the artist create your best look as well as create the best timeline to run the day smooth and efficiently.
Post-Ceremony Plans
Have an idea for the styles you want after the ceremony. Are you going to leave your hair up or down? Are you going to want the artist to hang out for touch ups?
